    Description

Patio Pacific Thermo Sash Endura Flap Pet Door Window, Indoor & Outdoor Ramps was 0 new. Plus a Cover to close the door to keep pets inside at night if desired.
This is a dog door that requires no cutting of an outer door, but uses a low horizontal opening window. It is sealed and prevents hot or cold air from escaping during winter or summer. We live in Texas, where the summers are hot and winters can get very cold. We never had any problems with this door. The magnets close securely, and replacements flaps are still available. This was originally purchased from Pet Doors. Patio Pacific is now a separate
    company
    .

We did, however, cut a notch in our aluminum bottom sash to anchor the knob, as shown in last photo. You may or may not need to use this.
It does not show it as a requirement for installation on the enclosed instructions.

The dog shown is my daughter's dog, who now lives in another location. Yes, standing in the door does bring in the cold air!
We bought this for our older Schipperke dog, who now is no longer with us.
